I'm a teacher who is following her husband where ever his career in the Air Force takes us. We've been through a 6 month seperation for training. We've made a move from the city to a small town in the middle of nowhere. We've adopted a new furbaby. I've found a new job. We've been through a deployment. Through all of this, we've learned to embrace change and all that it brings.
The movers came and took away all our stuff today. It was really hard to decide what to keep with us and what to send with them. You see, we're not so sure when we will get to see our stuff again, because we're not sure where we are going to live. (Sigh.) Being a new military wife, I'm beginning to realize, I don't get to have much control. I think God's trying to teach me something. So now, I'm in an empty apartment with an air mattress, my computer, and a small portion of my clothes. And we have food. I couldn't let them take my food.
